Heart

“Stone Pulse”
This sculpture is a carved reverence—a heart etched in stone, anatomical and precise, yet deeply personal. Encased in a circular border like a sacred seal, the ventricles, atria, and arteries are rendered with care, not just as biological structures, but as symbols of survival. This is the artist’s heart—not metaphorically, but literally—the organ that faltered, then was saved.

Created in tribute to the heart surgeon’s practice that intervened during the artist’s sudden heart attack, this piece transforms gratitude into permanence. The small emblem in the corner becomes a badge of honor, a quiet nod to the hands that held life steady when it threatened to slip away.

This isn’t just anatomy—it’s testimony. A sculpted thank-you. A pulse preserved in stone.
