When a Dallas weatherman predicted snow that never came, leaving children crestfallen and skies stubbornly clear, Rick stepped in—not with complaint, but with creation.

Adorned with a red scarf, black top hat, and stick arms (one proudly holding a symbolic snowball), this figure became a stand-in for winter’s absence. A gesture of playful defiance. A gift of imagination. Behind it, the blue backdrop and twig silhouettes evoke the chill that never arrived, while the warm wooden wall reminds us of the human warmth that did.
